Contribute, developed by Nigel and Meredith Belbin, will allow your people to experience and identify the skills associated with their own prefered team roles; to understand more about the make-up of the other members of the team and learn ways of sharing their work within the team more effectively, according to everyone's particular strengths and weaknesses. Over the course of one hour (plus debrief) a team, of between 4 and 9 people, first appoint a Coordinator who then delegates a series of eight different tasks. Each task is designed to match a particular team role. There are both physical and mental exercises and each successfully completed task wins the team a piece of the complete team roles jigsaw. Contribute is based around the 9 team roles developed by Meredith Belbin and used in thousands of organizations around the world; Coordinator, Plant, Monitor Evaluator, Resource Investigator, Shaper, Implementer, Completer Finisher, Team Worker, Specialist.
