It's OK to have feelings. In fact, the ability to work with and manage the emotional, intuitive side of our personality is now seen as a key management skill. The Emotional Competence Indicator has been developed by occupational psychologists, Eve Ash and Peter Quarry, to enable individuals and groups to explore and reflect on the extent to which they understand and use these skills.

The Indicator includes 20 sets of paired questions for the user to complete, along with three pull out questionnaires which can be passed to colleagues or your boss, for 360 degree feedback. Collate and score the results and you have a picture of your relative emotional competence and a starting point for a development plan.
