• Identify the sources of both qualitative and quantitative date and critically appraise their role in creating the information required at both operational and strategic levels in the business
• Identify and explain how information is created from data that is both captured and generated by the organisation and how it is used to enhance management processes
• Explain how the developing requirements of the business are dependent upon and driven by an organisation’s information management
• Support the specification, implementation, evaluation and operation of a management information system aimed at maintaining both operational effectiveness and strategic development of an organisation
