We actually use one of these at Glasstap to record every sale we make. It might sound cheesy but that little ping, marking another achievement by the team, really energises us and keeps us positive. These bells are also great for quizzes.

For quite a delicate ‘ting’, this could be heard in a large room of talkative participants I requested a two minutes maximum introduction from everyone, focusing on personal credentials. The bell gave the signal for “You have 15 seconds to wrap it all up!” I used it to indicate the end of activities and instead of ‘Can I have your attention please’. One role-play group used it to demonstrate irritated customer behaviour (and it survived the pounding, I’m relieved to say).
