I bought the Bendy Smiley Man for my 10 year old son who has started to pull his hair out! He said that he does this in front of the television (obviously when not watched) and asked for something to keep his hands busy. so far, he seems happy as it appeals to his sense of fun and gives more to do than simply squeezing a stress ball. It has a kind of flexible frame inside that makes me think that it might break at some point, however. Provided we don't let him stay in front of the television for hours on end, it should last for quite some time.

At a recent team building session I had this displayed so that participants could see the give aways that they would come away with. It ended up sparking a 'name the yellow man discussion' that served as an icebreaker and got everyone relaxed, talking and sharing ideas even before the session started.

The unexpected thing with these is that my young daughter loves them! But what is really interesting is just how creative you can be with them once you get cracking! Their bright colours and smiley faces really lend themselves to a range of different activities from something to simply fiddle with all the way through to games practicing being assertive and saying what you want to say to a bendy smiley man rather than a real person. A big thumbs up.

My son suffers in school from fidgeting whilst sitting and calling out during lesson time. Through word of mouth we were advised to try fiddle toys that would enable him to keep busy, whilst not interrupting the whole class. We found the Bendy Man on Glasstap and decided to give it a go. We have found them to be of use in aiding his concentration and have welcomed good feedback from his year teacher. Not only is the Bendy Man of use he is a smart looking character and would be welcomed by most of his peers. The school have welcomed the use of fiddle toys, thus we have now ordered a fiddle pack. Thanks very much Glasstap

I used the bendy men as team mascots in a recent training course and they proved very popular indeed! They are great for the people that like to keep their hands occupied in order to improve concentration levels. Would recommend these everytime!

Good points: Everyone loves these. For the delegate who can not stop fiddling to finding the most original dance move. A definite favourite of mine as usually grabs the attention of my learners when they enter the room, so they end up looking at the smiley bendy man rather than worrying about being on a course! Bad Points: I train 3-4 days a week and have had 5 of these toys for 3 months or so, most are now broken with sharp metal wires protruding. Some have also been stolen as desk toys even though I clearly state they can not keep them. Short shelf life but perfect for gifts on a course.
