The problem about the word ‘teamwork’ is that it has become too popular and has therefore lost its meaning. Ideal behaviour is often judged to mean complying with majority decisions and being willing to do anything that’s required. Yet if everyone behaved like that, you’d have good reason to doubt that the team would function effectively. A flock of sheep may hang together well, but their only accomplishment is to eat grass.
