The aims of this module are:
1) To illustrate typical reactions to change when communication is limited.
2) To briefly consider the reasons for these reactions.
This ice-breaker can be used with any group of participants at the start of a learning and development session focussed on change management.
It is particularly useful for helping participants understand the reasons for resistance to change and to understand the importance of good communications during any change project.
The handout that accompanies this ice-breaker provides tips on dealing with resistance to change.
This icebreaker takes between 15 and 30 minutes to run, depending on the length and depth of the subsequent discussion.
