These small jigsaws can be used in a variety of training exercises, as icebreakers or as the basis for simple team games.

For example, mix the pieces from two different jigsaw puzzles together and see how quickly teams can identify the parts that correspond to which jigsaw and assemble them. To make things more difficult, remove the corner pieces – teams can opt to buy these for time penalties.

Or, for a simple icebreaker, give 6 pieces to each participants and leave them to find people with the pieces they need to assemble the complete picture.

Jigsaws are 17.6cm by 12.5cm when assembled.

(Our training props are carefully selected for use by professional trainers, and are not suitable for children under 3).

I’m not quite sure how I’m going to use this yet but ordered it because of the low price. Excellent value for money and good quality product.

Always exciting is the game where pieces of the jigsaw are sealed in envelopes and delegates have to solve riddles or business-related challenges to earn the pieces, then work together to put the puzzle together. I think we will end up ordering the Jumbo one as well for group activities.

We used the mini jigsaws as a learning style tool, they are great as they come in four different designs which meant that I could split the group into the four different learning styles and see how they completed the jigsaw in their different styles without them cheating! They are small enough to take with you as well if you are training in a different location.

I've looked everywhere for tiny jigsaws and frequently resorted to buying much larger versions. These tiny but well produced pieces are ideal for listening and communication exercises or as simple icebreakers if you purchase two puzzles and mix up the pieces!

Break teams into small groups and set them the challenge of completing the jigsaw in the fastest time. When they’ve done it, get them to turn the jigsaw over (blank side up) and see if they can do it that way. Not mega original, but fun.

I've been looking for puzzles like this - cheap but effective - and this is so much better than having to raid my childrens' toy box. Thanks Trainers Library - perfect for use with blindfolds as ice-breaker - to illustrate the importance of clear communication

I love these mini jigsaws and the pictures on them! I used these as part of the effective communication workshop. When in their teams of two the delegates have to race to build the jigsaw one being blindfolded and one being the guide. The exercise took some delegates out of their comfort zone but once they got into it they loved it! The jigsaws are just the right amount of pieces for the exercise not to go on too long and it proved a very popular ice breaker.

These jigsaws are perfect - especially if you buy several different ones - for demonstrating lots of organisational problems. I use two sets of three to (mixed) to illustrate the importance of a clear vision / purpose (e.g. picture on the box) - and getting the right team members involved in improvement projects. And they're cute and fun too (and appeal to both genders and many cultures when training).

I've purchased five mini jigsaws along with blindfolds and carry them in my trainers kit constantly - they are useful as they take up hardly any room and weigh very little. So far I've used them for Team Building, planning and organising and communication skills. It seems to bring out a competitive edge in all participants no matter what the topic is.
