This entertaining video shows a typical regular meeting involving departmental heads and comprises of five short scenes; each designed to highlight particular learning points.

These are followed by a ‘review’ scene that should help participants to recognise the learning points from the first scenes and summarises these (albeit in a slightly unconventional way).

The scenes’ themes are:
  • Starting the meeting.
  • Managing discourse.
  • The stuff that serves no purpose.
  • Diversions.
  • The amount of time spent on a topic in inverse proportion to its importance.
The final review lets us hear direct feedback from the attendees and hear what they thought about the value of the meeting and the chairing!

The video is designed to provide an entertaining but powerful learning tool that provokes discussion and raises awareness of some of the behaviours in meetings that can cause problems.

The DVD comes complete with full Trainers' Notes.

DVD sounds wonderful. I like it when I can show my employees something educational yet entertaining. Will hopefully be buying ASAP.
